There are 5 Key Indicators that the Sports Premium must be used for outlined on the action plan:
Key Indicator 1 – The engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity – Chief Medical Officers guidelines recommend that primary school pupils undertake at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day in school.
Key Indicator 2 – The profile of PESSPA being raised across the school as a tool for whole school improvement.
Key Indicator 3 – Increased confidence, knowledge and skills of all staff in teaching PE and sport.
Key Indicator 4 – Broader experience of a range of sports and activities offered to all pupils.
Key Indicator 5 – Increased participation in competitive sport.
The action plan is ragged to show progress and achievement against the key indicators termly with evidence detailed. This is reported and shared with governors.
