Supporting Every Child at Wrangle Primary Academy
At Wrangle Primary Academy, we believe that every child should feel included, supported, and able to achieve their very best.
We know that all children are unique, with different strengths, interests, and needs. That’s why we work hard to create a school where everyone feels valued and able to take part fully in learning and school life.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
-
Inclusive classrooms – lessons are adapted so that every child can join in and make progress.
-
High-quality teaching – our teachers are trained to support all learners and continue to develop their skills through regular training.
-
Ongoing support – children’s progress is carefully monitored, and we step in quickly if extra help is needed.
-
Working together – we see parents as partners and value your insight into your child’s learning and development.
-
Celebrating individuality – we recognise and celebrate the different contributions every child makes to our school community.
Our Aims
We want to make sure that every child at Wrangle Primary Academy:
-
Gets the right help as early as possible.
-
Experiences success and achieves their full potential.
-
Feels confident to join in and take part in all aspects of school life.
-
Is supported by staff who understand their needs and have access to the right training.
-
Benefits from strong partnerships between school, parents, governors, and, when needed, outside agencies.
SEND Implementation
Our SEND Information Report outlines how tour provision is delivered within school. The information report can be found below alongside the SEND Policy. These documents outline how we support children to achieve their DREAMS.
We deliver these five areas to further support children to reach their goals:
1. Create a positive and supportive environment for all pupils without exception.
2. Build an ongoing, holistic understanding of our pupils and their needs.
3. Ensure all pupils have access to high quality teaching.
4. Complement high quality teaching with carefully selected small-group and one-to-one interventions.
5. Work effectively with teaching assistants.
These areas support the delivery of the SEND Information Report and Policy.
