PE (swimming)
At Wrangle Primary Academy, we have our own swimming pool onsite. Our swimming pool is 10m x 5m and a consistent depth of 1.2m. Every child within our academy swims in our wonderful pool. With trained staff on hand to support every stage of their swimming journey, our pupils feel safe, encouraged, and confident as they learn.
The swimming pool is managed by our own staff to ensure our pupils know their teachers and feel confident to try new things. Our amazing swimming teacher, Miss Bennett, makes lessons fun and engaging, while also teaching the children all about water safety. The lifeguards in our pool are teaching assistants within our academy.
Our pupils absolutely love their swimming sessions and are proud of the skills they are developing. Living so close to rivers and waterways, we know just how important it is for our children to feel happy and confident in the water.
