We are a class of Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils.
Our Teacher is Mrs Young. Unfortunately, Mrs Young is absent at the moment but we are lucky to have Mr Fitzgerald to teach us.
What are we learning about this term?
This term, our learning question focuses on:
Why was the Battle of Britain so significant?
We will be learning about the World War 2 and how times have changed. We will carefully consider the life’s of people during the war and what they would have been like. We will enjoy a range of experiences to bring our learning to life. In Science, we are learning about light, linking our learning to the blackout.
English
Our English lessons this term will be based on ‘The Tunnel’ by Anthony Browne, War Poems, ‘Letters from the Lighthouse’ by Emma Carroll and ‘War Horse’ by Michael Morpurgo. We will write for a range of purposes, focusing on our grammar and composition.
